@janamarie The autofocus might actually just be because of the fact that IR focusses on a different plane than regular light in a normal lens. Most of my pentax lenses have a seperate mark that you need to twist the lens to for IR photography *after* you've focussed the shot, and I can confirm on my z70 (film) the autofocus indeed misses the mark if you don't take that into account.

I did get to trichrome (quadchrome?) some rollei IR film on it though. Fun stuff

hahaa! Successfully removed all IR and UV filters from my old Canon EOS 600D, I can do full spectrum, UV and IR photography now!

All of the following photos have been taken with a ~550nm+ lpf, meaning cutting everything under 550nm (blue, purple and uv) off. I love the vibrant pink foliage and dramatic turquoise skies

Something I enjoy doing from time to time is to take my old-ass broadcast camera (those who know will know), place the lights and the angles and the backgrounds, take out my old partial fursuit and play with filming kinda lewd video's.

I enjoy the challenge of it; i'm on my own and have to get creative with framing to only show the parts of my body that I like and hide those that I don't. My camera ain't amazing and I have to get real creative to make it work (but if it was easy then what's the fun of it?); my body is quite apt at it if i judge so myself but it still feels very exposing to show intimate parts of it to the internet.

However, I have one friend who likes it and the rest universally find it really mid. I know IRL fursuit porn is quite a niche, and i am not in the right spheres to become big and famous (plus to be real that requires using body parts that I *don't* like at all, it's a niche within a niche), but it still feels like a shame to put so much effort in for something I can quite literally throw in the toilet.

And I feel like it's part of the artistic struggle; having something that you really enjoy but not getting a chance for the world to appreciate your genius.

The irony is if I contrast it to something like my photography. Everyone loves a good portrait photo, and it ain't terribly hard to take out a good set of gear on a nice event and shoot some memories that will be beloved by everyone. But I feel like it's too easy; I have fantastic gear and can quite literally point at the sun and get the shot but the photo's are starting too feel samey and frankly a bit boring and staged to be at this point.

I need challenge to appreciate my own work, but it's not challenge that will make it appreciated by others (unless they are massive nerds like you and even then, like my last escapades showed you need more than nerdery to make the nerds show up).

And I don't quite know what direction to go with it. In photography I can always keep doing what I do now, whilst maybe not the most technically challenging I can rest assured that people love what I made. But in video, yeah I have to have a good think...

..and yes before you ask, i have tried non-lewd stuff on video too but I think it's the lewd things that came out the most interesting. I just lack a bit of creativity in other matters, which might make it worse but i know too little about the subject to tell.

@charlotte At my work the servers simply shut down every night at 3h00 in the morning. It's not an internationally-sold product and whomever is still awake at that hour just shouldn't realistically... and because these are windows servers it's far better to give them the regular eepies anyways

We store your post, profile and account data securely in the Hetzner Datacenter in Falkenstein, Germany. See their DIN ISO/IEC 27001 certification Media is stored on Vultr
We employ technical security measures to avoid exposure to sensitive data.
We also store backups of post, profile, and account data in multiple locations, in an encrypted form, on our server near Chemnitz, Germany, as well as on Vultr.
For technical reasons it is not possible modify these backups to remove your data. If this is a concern, please contact us.

What are your data protection rights?

We want to make sure that you are aware of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access — You can request a copy of the data we have about you. This may require a short verification for remote users. Local users can do so in the settings under Export/Import
The right to rectification — You can request us to correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete the information you believe is inaccurate.
The right to erasure — You can request us to erase the data we have about you.
The right to restrict to processing — You can restrict us from transmitting your posts to other servers by setting your post visiblity to “Local”. Remote users can also restrict processing of certain posts, by setting its visiblity to “Unlisted” or “Private”.
The right to object to processing — As a remote user, you can object to further processing of posts and profile data by blocking this domain.
The right to data portability — You can at any point move to other instances. Due to technical restrictions, it is currently not possible to automatically transfer the users you follow and posts to your new account.
