@LunaDragofelis @joepie91 i think the german housing market is only regionally fucked, unfortunately the regions are whereever you can find jobs. also it massively prefers long-term renters (my parents could not afford moving to a smaller apartment, even if it is in a worse part of town)

meanwhile i don’t think i would be able to find a place to live in NL with my current budget and my gf’s place is not accessible to me either

@joepie91 everything everywhere is fucking expensive, endless waiting lists for social housing, nothing is up to code because what are you going to do about it as a renter, and then extremely bullshit restrictions on who can live in homes together and who cannot

the german constitution is a temporary one to be replaced once germany is unified

35 years later and that still hasn't happened


so like ignoring any other constitutional loopholes, the constitution can be replaced by one with none of the civil liberties presumably with a 2/3 majority (same as any constitutional amendment, a bar so low that the german constitution is probably the most frequently amended constitution)
