First Hotel completed made out of Breakfast Buffet Butter
“The idea came during breakfast”, the lead structural engineer who wishes to remain anonymous stated. “I noticed that the butter knife was stuck in the buffet butter and it was extremely hard to move”. After weeks of computer simulations this butter was a stronger binder than mortar and could hold up on its own.
The construction was not without issues, however. During one incident a construction worker dropped a 15kg heavy brick of butter on his foot. While the worker remained unhurt, firefighters needed to use diamond cutters to remove his foot out of the brick.
The butter hotel is scheduled to open later this year. “It is very important that the hotel undergoes a freeze-thaw cycle before it can be opened”. When asked about the butter at their business buffet, the CEO simply answered “We are offering cement instead of butter”. The FDA has not immediately responded to a request for comment.
