what does "responsible" mean here
the only way they're "harming" your ecosystem is by making your mod not completely break when people have like the top 10 most popular mods installed
and by fixing some of the baffling design decisions like how you can only grow certain crops in certain biomes but you can find them all in every biome growing wild
they have to hook into core code because they're fixing core code
@charlotte it's wild that the entire time I was modding RimWorld not a single modder got mad at another modder for modding their mod
at worst it was "well I don't agree with their changes to my mod so I'll just not install their mod of my mod"
and at best it was "hey Ben I know you released Ben Lubar's RimBees Tweaks or whatever literally yesterday but how would you like to have all those changes integrated directly into RimBees"
