Felt like a real fashion reporter with so many beautiful models to report on!
Good thing I had my Leica M8 with me to assist me on my job.

@androidarts I know plenty of 8bit games do it by accident, as in "too many enemies on screen slow us down"; fantasy zone (SMS) and kirby's dream land (GB) are the two that I play the most where it's an integral part of the gameplay.

I kinda find it a shame that modern 3d games don't slow down like that anymore. I perfectly know why, but i enjoyed those free bullet-time moments

@maruno i think i recall reading an article about a similar issue in austria, where the supermarkets would play games with extreme discounts and price hikes. that would actually support the theory it's monopolist behaviour, as according to that article that was the issue there. but don't quote me on it, it's been a while.

fact is we have litle force to fight it back. i live quite close to the belgium border but the border supermarkets seem to have adapted in price (or belgium is just that much more expensive than i recall), and food is not something we can just go without for a little while.

@maruno and also the monopolies. those don't help either

@maruno because the supermarkets are cathered to families who buy in large quantities, and the one-and-two people households are just margin work for them

“I’d created 2000 free-text responses and labelled them ‘UK’. Then I copied and pasted the exact same 2000 responses but labelled these ‘US’. Finally, I combined them to create a dataset of 4000 total responses, and jumbled them up.

Despite the responses being identical for the UK and US, Copilot produced a rich, detailed summary of how US and UK respondents differed.”

@jordan in my case it's real simple, cause the camera-app most mediatek phone's ship by default does not know what a QR code is (afaik that's a pixel camera app feature). so i'll just point the camera at the screen, nothing happens, and then nothing happens

please, everyone, join me in refusing to scan Google's QR code reCAPTCHAs

if a site you want or need to use starts using them, complain to the operators, but here's the rub:

don't bother arguing with site operators about privacy etc; instead, just lie, and say you can't get them to work
