@ben nah it’s this very bizarre thing that ghc does where it runs a perl script on the generated assembly to boost perf by 2x

it doesn’t work for this particular setup which also for some reason is single threaded and doesn’t use the native raccode generator or llvm

it’s also single threaded. and no llvm support
