🔘 i was aware of floorp but it occupies the same part of the brain as poob does so i thought it was a joke

every time i see a dog in one of those led light up collars i get jealous, because we live in a cyberpunk future, yet it is only acceptable for dogs to wear items of clothing with glowing tubes.

@EeveeEuphoria “average possum bites 3 people a day” factoid is false ibly who bites 3000 creatures a day is a statistical outlier and should not have been c-ow!

@Rusty @Redfuchs honestly i wouldn’t give too much thought about a bluechecks misunderstanding of X ToS. half of the stuff comes up every time x changes tos (or twitter before, or pre-musk twitter)
the “ai training rights grab” was likely already something they could do with the old tos, the “perpetual content license” is nowhere to be found (it doesn’t have a specified end date, which is not the same thing™). forced jurisdiction moved with the hq to texas from california, anti-arbitration still exists, government disclosure is literally just a cya, arbitrary termination is something that twitter always allowed itself to do (and most service providers for that matter…), statute of limitation seems new, the anti jailbreak clause is also new if it exists at all (but likely an extension of being banned from hacking x systems)
comparing it with this document from 2017 btw: https://cdn.cms-twdigitalassets.com/content/dam/legal-twitter/asset-download-files/TheTwitterUserAgreement-1.pdf
the license is also found in the ToS of every (corporate) social media platform and means “if you upload an image, we are allowed to compress, and crop it, show it to your followers, and with the corresponding privacy settings also the general public”. it also turns into a social media cycle every time someone changes their ToS regardless of whether they changed it (they probably did not)

shitting on raccompany time is praxis yet shitting myself on raccompany time is not

something other devs need to understand that open source raccode is like a dumpster you can take raccode out of
if it gives you food poisoning that’s your problem

Have you seen the new browser to replace Firefox? It's called IceCat. It's literally called Zen. It's a customized Librewolf install. It's a gecko fork called Pale Moon. You can probably use SeaMonkey. It's called K-Meleon. We're all using Floorp. Install Floorp right now. We're all using Floorp. Install Floorp right now. Everyone is using Floorp now. Install Floorp right now.

jia tan is probably the worst thing to have happened to open source “supply chain” discussions and it’s unrelated to what he did

@EeveeEuphoria like genuinely if someone mentions floop i am just going to assume they are making fun of firefox forks
