In the simplest possible design of an async runtime, it'd check if both sources had any events every time the runtime gets woken up, so if any more complex runtime dropped events that would be a significant bug

I forgot what the exact reasoning was but my setup was decaying a bit and incoming mail was hit or miss for some kinda important mail senders like my bank. Oh and ip reputation issues with one rbl that at the time I tried to get unblocked for the first time advertised me a paid but defunct "Email registration" program. Less spam though than with zoho
