Someone I know locally who does HVAC repair got turned away from a scheduled job yesterday because “the rapture is happening tomorrow and there’s no point in fixing it now”. I honestly thought that stuff was made up, and hearing about it happening for real, especially in my neck of the woods, is surreal.
