Sorry, I don't understand this at all. Installing it to do what exactly? Does anyone "Install C++" or Java, or Python? No you might install an IDE to make programs in one of the Languages though. But that is much different.

@Davida @charlotte especially if your preferred environment is vscode, emacs, vim or any other program that doesn't make your computer into a room heater and take 6 years to open (looking at you visual studio and android studio)

@Davida @charlotte You’d install a C++ compiler & std lib, Java runtime, Python interpreter & std lib.

The same way you install the rust compiler, package manager and std lib.
