@EeveeEuphoria @charlotte gif supports different replacement/layering modes (basically so you can say "keep the last frame but change these pixels" for better compression) but sometimes stuff fucks up and renders them as transparent or whatever

@charlotte @EeveeEuphoria yeah I'm sure ffmpeg handles it, it's probably more commonly things like people using imagemagick to get the frames and not including the `coalesce` option
