I watched my dental technician dismiss the half screen of news articles that Windows had automatically popped up on the computer that runs the X-ray machine.

... and this is on top of the fears i already have after learning of the various acids dentists regularly use to help fix teeth and the potential of just filling your mouth with acid if their assistant slips up

@mark something similar happened when I got my implant: they'd recently upgraded to windows vista, and it was having trouble recognizing the USB x-ray. They tried reconnecting it a couple times and then gave up and just assumed they'd drilled into my jaw at the right angle
