What should I do with my evenings D:
I read all the books in my bookshelf. Multiple times.
I turn off all electronic devices at around 8 p.m.
Whether is ugly, so no going outside.

@maruno As long as it's cheap and doesn't consume any more space.

@uvok That is often the catch,
they mostly require both money and space too. :P Just spend 70 euro on a roll of solder myself so ouch...

@Foxotronic @charlotte I have yet to receive and try though, but from what I could puzzle together this should be a fairly good lead free composition. Stannol HS10 Sn95,5Ag3,8Cu0,7 (SAC387), there is also one with less spicy flux.

I saw a lot of complaining about lead free looking up what to buy, but want to give it a shot with something that isn't the cheapest shit: https://bark.lgbt/@maruno/115559359675209883

@maruno @Foxotronic yeah there’s a lot of yapping about solder compositions by people that have primarily used leaded solder who don’t understand that it doesn’t behave the exact same way (or who have tried it once 20 years ago when the average solder alloy was shit)

i think the main difference is that it melts at a slightly lower temp and has higher mechanical strength than Sn99.3Cu0.7?

@charlotte @Foxotronic Yeah, should also give slightly better wetting and thus be more similar to SnPb 60/40. Maybe also a bit more similar shiny but we will see. I will need to get used to it too, but want to give it a fair chance.
