okay i guess to clarify: i need a way to get rid of a sharps bin when it is full. and that varies depending on region
and i'm not really asking for advice unless you know the region in question and can tell us exactly where to take it. (thank you for the effort tho. sorry for being unclear.) mostly im just Yelling because we live in a place where we could just show up to any pharmacy with even just a detergent bottle with them in, and hand it in no questions asked. and why can't it be like that everywhere

hi_cial@donphan.social@niss "sharps container" is the official receptacle name here but also breaking the needle off before throwing it in the trash, or capping it if it has a twist lock cap before u throw it out & pickup crew dont mind, longs theyre not being stuck
could also put used ones in an empty drink bottle & cap it & toss it, thatll also keep the bin crew safe & thats rly all that matters

here in NY you just put them in whatever plastic container you have and bring them to the needle drop. mine are in a gallon jug that had water in it originally. this should be the norm!

(they did ask "hey what prescription is this for" but were happy with "none" as an answer). no name or address required either. did i just get really lucky here??
