Here's a tip if TOTP stresses you out: the code you enter is evaluated at the moment you send it, not the moment you were asked for it, you don't have to scramble! When you open your authenticator app and feel like the timer is too low, you can just wait for it to roll over to a new code.

@Siph also often the previous and the next code are also accepted so your clock doesn’t need to be perfectly in sync either
