More like EU will come forward and say "we're deeply worried about the recent escalations in the middle east, especially by Iran's attacks on US military bases, but also by US strikes on Iran, and we urge all sides to deescalate and get to negotiations table".

Oh wait they already said, except without "but also by US strikes on Iran" part.
