I don't think I've seen anything people on the Steam forums have stronger opinions about than whether it's called "lunar new year" or "chinese new year"

to the point where they'll argue that a Chinese publishing branch of Steam is not being Chinese enough

or harass a game developer (not pictured) because their decoration pack for their funny management simulator game that's full of red objects with chinese text on them has the word Chinese in its name

@ben cinny the inclusive term is the one which excludes a significant chunk of people who celebrate because they aren’t chinese
