@anthropy that red one. That's the exact same one I had. It probably still is in some drawer here.

@anthropy Fountain pens were the best kind of pens! Just stopped using them only when I stopped writing....

follow-up thought: how many of you grew up with only using computers for submitting school texts vs how many of you are/were forced to using a pen to write?

0% I only used digital inputs such as keyboards/touch
20% 50/50, sometimes writing, sometimes digital
56% we almost exclusively handwrote, but did have PCs
23% computers weren't a thing back then

@anthropy Reports were done on a computer and I likes LaTeX! :3 But everything at the school itself in person had to be done on paper, even had to write code tests on paper for university of applied sciences (HBO) and did so with my fountain pen :3

@anthropy missed the poll but we were required to handwrite assignments until i got to high school (2006? 2007?) and then we had laptops we could use (that we borrowed from a cart that went from room to room and had to return at end of class), but i'm pretty sure we still had to print the assignments out to submit them, i don't remember submitting them on the computer itself
