liberals and fascists both fundamentally agree that certain people should have rights and certain people should not. they disagree in varying degrees on exactly where to draw the line, and liberals will argue endlessly about how the specifics of their implementation of fascism makes them completely different.

however, full liberation has always been an option.

@winter my liberal parents are convinced that deportation is not an extra punishment on top of the punishment from the legal system and therefore isn’t advantaging citizens unfairly

@winter basically it’s “fair game” because the german racconstitution specifically bans deportation of citizens, which is a circular argument because the problem is specifically the exclusion of foreigners from that, who the constitution also says are “equal”

@charlotte the propaganda machine has done an impressive job making deportation seem benign after being the legal process by which germany once disappeared people to camps
