@owl apple maps is so devoid of any information it’s essentially a downgrade from a jpeg of a world map. idk if it’s different in the shithole country

@cadadr @owl apple maps is also mostly just a gray void in Germany. I thought that was what it's like everywhere

@cadadr @owl it is a gray void, but on aplpe maps, it's also featureless

@cadadr @schratze I used my then-partner's iphone in South Africa once (1ce) to direct us somewhere, and it sent us the wrong way down a one-way street. Worse than useless software.

@owl @cadadr car drivers in my city keep making left turns or u-turns where they're not allowed to and crashing into the tram. Which they "didn't see".

Afterwards when they are asked what the hell they were doing, they'll say that their maps app told them to do it.

@owl @charlotte @schratze if only a hero existed to keep them away from normal humans

*a bollard wearing a cape and undies enters the scene*

@schratze @owl @cadadr it's surprisingly hard for drivers to guess where trams go. one would think that the tracks were a big giveaway
