Do you mean trans people plus a different group? Then address that group explicitly

Once saw someone spell “folks” as “folx” for some godawful reason. The word already says nothing on its own about the people it is referring to beyond referring to people, plural.

@schratze i think it's quite handy: when i see the asterisk i know I'm dealing with someone who I'd rather avoid
