"trans" and "trans*" means exactly the same thing

Do you mean trans people plus a different group? Then address that group explicitly

@schratze also adding an ‘x’ to something does nothing. what is the x for.

Once saw someone spell “folks” as “folx” for some godawful reason. The word already says nothing on its own about the people it is referring to beyond referring to people, plural.
