Am I the only one who, like...

  1. CW warns me of a thing I absolutely will not like.
  2. Clicks through without thinking about it.
  3. Very much does not like it.

soft_dizzy like, yep. idk what I expected.

There's just a big giant blurry thing and I want to press it. meowreachsadrev

@Rusty
I am always grateful when there is the option
and always unhappy when there isn't
even if I can't not click.

@lilDrakon Yeah for sure. meowreach Especially since I can just hide it again really easily and know not to click through next time when I scroll the timeline again.

@Rusty For some reason I'm more likely to pay attention to content warnings on Mastodon than on Bluesky.

Part of it is Mastodon being more consistent on warnings, but even when a Bluesky post HAS a warning I still have to fight the urge to click on it right away.

@RaynarBrusk I think Mastodon being more consistent and descriptive is probably the main reason. I've seen so many random posts with an adult content warning that don't need it, while being blasted by nonstop uncensored porn.
