when I bought, they said my address is a remote area and therefore express shipping will be 120€ which they would cover half of. I chose no express shipping because I don’t actually care and it can take however long. 60€ is not worth.

my order is shipping with yunexpress . from China. nothing inherently wrong with that but like what. none of the information about the shipping seems to have been accurate. I thought it would be with DHL . or is DHL only for the express shipping and non-express is yunexpress? when they say “express shipping” do they mean “we will use a better courier”????

like I guess they do describe what happened. but ??? what do you mean Australia and Canada. I don’t live there. this is clearly a concept for other regions

The package will show “pajamas” or “toys” depends on what you purchased. There is only one exception, if your order exceeds $50 with only pacifiers, DHL would force us to label it with pacifiers. So, please do NOT buy over $50 pacifiers only if you concern about discreet shipping.

I assume this is somehow because of stricter policies with the express shipping? but that feels weird on DHL’s part. why would they have different requirements on labeling contents depending on the priority. ??? but this makes more sense if I assume that non-express means non-DHL. maybe DHL requires labeling pacifiers but others don’t. and >$50 kicks in the switch to DHL as a courier. and therefore their labeling policies.

but without that context, I think it’s really funny to have the phrase “please do NOT buy over $50 pacifiers only”. there is no other exception like this. just that single case for a high volume shipment of pure pacifiers . add any other item and it’s fine. but 100% pacifiers at that price point? “please do NOT buy”

though, as far as I’m aware, LFB almost exclusively sells products they make (notable exception is bondage gear?). there are resellers but it’s ultimately from the same company so if you do want to avoid supporting LFB then no, you can’t really buy from elsewhere.

I’m not well versed enough to recommend any alternatives. but like. there are alternatives. you can buy from a different brand.

they do yeah. though it’s worth noting “putting LGBT symbols on your products to appeal to queer consumers” is not the same thing as “actually supporting queer people”. and the allegations are supposedly related to e.g. the way they select models and such. that is, treatment towards actual people. I have no idea if that’s true. idk if lfb is rainbow washing or whatever. but like, the one (1) reddit thread I read on the matter did not take primary issue with the language on their product listings.
