federation tor.observer is not cool imo . I don’t want to federate with onion services. this isn’t like a bridge from some other social network; this is literally ActivityPub instances that I otherwise would not be federating with.

@charlotte no, as far as i can tell the instance in question is actually set up to be canonically named *.onion.tor.observer and only goes through that clearnet name and therefore federates bidirectionally.
