I occasionally think to myself “maybe I’d have a high rate of success immigrating to Germany. After all, I do have heritage there alongside a very German sounding last name” but then German is one of the more common US heritages in a country smaller than California. And it’s a tough crowd having only basic IT skills and no real knowledge of German culture or knowledge of who or what or even if there’s family I have living there.
I just want to live somewhere with healthier food, and recognition that the tech sector needs to be controlled when I’m older. Doesn’t even need to be Germany.
Not the kind of control involving restricting E2EE though.
Sometimes I think the US would be better if we started paying more for less food. Mainly the food we don’t need to survive, not the healthy stuff. Absolutely not that.
