what i think is far more likely is sexually developing teens intentionally using ai sex bots to have cybersex and the problem with that is not too dissimilar as teens seeing porn (which arguably is more an issue with sex ed being too narrow or spotty)

@Steve yeah, mental healthcare infrastructure is generally very terrible all around and there are simply not enough therapists (while also intentionally tying up their resources to gatekeep transgender medical care for example)
the government also kinda doesn’t care about improving the situation either, probably because it is ingrained as being a personal failure to need it
