@charlotte Youtube specifically paywalls turning off this anti-feature

I didn't know they did it (stopping playback when switching apps) on malicious purpose until they started advertising youtube premium

hint to devs: changing audio volume is not that, it means that the audio volume isn’t pleasant to the user and they want it adjusted

@charlotte reminds me of skype's pulseaudio implementation, for some reason every audio thing skype generated (all the bleeps/bloops for notifications) where marked as "voice chat" which meant PA auto ducked every time skype went "something happened" had to turn auto ducking off, because skype had made it useless that way
