Tonight we find out if the macOS Nix installer and the Asahi installer, both of which fuck with APFS volumes, play nice together

edit: They do! Hello from Asahi on a M2 MacBookPro :)

@fasterthanlime i think nix created a virtual partition within the apple file system, doesn't touch actual physical partitions

@fasterthanlime I always wonder how much would break if more platform had the massive pages that POWER allows, but there is not really much consumer hardware so I have never been able to try it out myself.

@erk @fasterthanlime x86 also allows more massive pages, like 2MiB, 1GiB and 512GiB (i think)
