mcdonalds is so funny to me as an option for food because like

a big mac and fries cost more than a döner kebab

unlike a döner kebab they have zero flavor and seasoning

and they are also less healthy

and i also don’t support an immigrant run local business

In light of recent events, I want to remind everyone that end-to-end encryption doesn't prevent you from adding the editor of the Atlantic to your private group chats.

Signal provides:

- Excellent protection against third party interception of communications (wiretapping).

- Limited protection against compromised (hacked) or lost devices

- No protection against certain common usage mistakes (accidentally including a reporter in your large group war planning chat).

Much of the Signal discussion is overlooking a key point: an entire apartment building was leveled to kill one guy.

How many civilians died? Is this a war crime?

The religious language—“prayer,” “God bless,” “Godspeed to our Warriors”—makes it all the more revolting, like a game of Battleship from the safety of a church basement.

Recently saw this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp-8r1aDdJk) and it raises an interesting question.

I am a regular use of an "electric juicer" for oranges. Well, that sentence should come with a big asterisk. I own a magimix, which happens to have a juicer function, and it happens that the juicer is the part of it that I use the most.

But would I go out of the way to buy an electric juicer if I didn't already own one? Hell no, oranges are easy enough to juice for my hand strength. Despite this I was more than happy to take my parents magimix for it's juicing functions, especially since I have used the very same device since all of my childhood to juice oranges with; it's fast and convenient and I just like fresh orange juice.

There are sometimes things in life that are not worth paying for, but are still a neat convenience, and still form part of your life.

Would I be sad if the household magimix finally gave up after 35 years of near constant use? Yeah, but I wouldn't replace it. Though at that point perhaps better just to repair it, other than the plastics becoming brittle the thing seams near unbreakable.

A few days ago I gotten some fur in my DMs in telegram with the right extremism points and talking about "anti woke" stuff and thanking me that I do not have any woke stuff in my stickerpack.

So I gotten an artist to draw an special sticker as an "fuck ya and the horse you rode in on"

It also has dubble point since a few weeks I start to become more comfortable as "outing" myself as pansexual. I had issues with this due to past trauma but you know what. I am here, I am pan, fucking deal with it. And you wanna be transphobic well you gotta go through me first.

Edit: why did no body tell me to link the artist, its made by greylong over at: https://t.me/Greyl0ngArt

"The cut's a little high, don't you think?"
"So wear some shorts under it. ;)"

A coworker and I were complaining that men don't get any slutty clothing options and that that's sad. So here's a cheetah guy trying on slutty clothes for a party with his partner. Took way too bloody long because I'm ill and distracted, but I'm happy with it anyway.

I recently drove a car whose whole control and entertainment system was a gigantic iPad-like thing mounted to the dash. It caused me to have a realisation about the and of touch screens.

There is no way to touch a touchscreen without it treating that touch as intentional. What I mean is: without taking my eyes off the road, I can grope across the dashboard, find a knob or button—by touching it—without activating any function. Touching the volume button or temperature knob doesn’t DO anything until I do it with more force and intentionality. Not so for a .

My mobile (an 13) has no dead space in its face. There’s no part of the phone face I can touch without it assuming I meant to do that and I wanted to activate whatever was under my finger. Old iPhones that had physical home buttons also had dead space to either side: a safe space to hold the phone without DOING anything.

Computer keyboard have little raised pips on the F and J keys so you can find them by touch without looking. I do this all the time. But I don’t type the letters F or J. Touch screens have no such affordances.

I look at the keyboard in this photo and I see a raised space bar. It’s an that lets you orient your fingers, and orient how you hold the phone, without looking.

I miss buttons.
