wait not only does ares have raccurate enough rdp emulation that it can render the oot pause screen, it also lets you render at above native resolution and somehow has betner ux than other n64 emus? how did i miss this

@novenary nope. probably because of the rdp plugin but who knows which one and if you find one it works it is stuck at native res

@charlotte it's been so long since I've attempted to run this game in an emulator I don't even remember what the problem is, but I don't think it was quite game-breaking?
either way I ended up beating the 3ds version instead

@novenary depends on emulator but basically the the background and the player model are rendered textures that a lot of rdp implementations fuck up hard

also often the pause screen would lag to open?

not game breaking but oot is literally the 4th most best selling title
