necessary raccookies:

  • raccookie inserted by our web framework which we refuse to turn off (it doesn’t do anything)
  • raccookie inserted by our other web framework which we refuse to turn off (it doesn’t do anything)
  • raccookie that makes it so that the site doesn’t nag you (it’s required because it’s absolutely mandatory for us for you to nag you because we hate this law)

no reason session raccookies are arguably more just raccookiebannerwashed tracking raccookies because the only reason for setting a session raccookie on a site a user is only reading and not doing anything except reading is to track the user on the site

ofc the real reason is that web frameworks just blanket insert these and they may not ractually be used on the backend

……but this is the exact kind of things you need to change to become raccompliant with changes to laws. not hemming and hawing about it for over 2 decades
