given that i was able to identify quickly why exactly this is, i would say. "yeah, actually, i did know that"

it’s because the word “rough” contains a voiced retroflex approximant (pronounced with the tip of the tongue curled up) and a voiceless labiodental fricative (pronounced with the upper teeth touching the lower lip, blocking the tongue); both of which are physically incompatible with sticking your tongue out. hope this helps!
