There's something I need to know just out of curiosity:

On a 27" display with 4K resolution, you would use a UI scaling of

30% 100%
30% 150%
40% 200%

@volpeon On my display of that size and resolution, I actually use 1920x1080.

@volpeon probably 125 or 130% given that i run my 23” 1440” at 100% scaling

@volpeon I wanted a big screen that just works (even/especially with legacy software).

And FullHD is regrettably still "the standard".

So instead of UI scaling + hoping, I simply stay with the same resolution as everyone else... blobcat_flop_woozy

@wakame People keep telling me UI scaling is weird, but that doesn’t match my experiences at all these days. :drgnthink__w: It used to be bad at the beginning, but I don’t remember the last time I had issues

@wakame At least when you go from 100% to 200%. Fractional is weird.

@volpeon
Fun fact: Some C#/XAML UIs simply scale-up-then-blur parts of the UI.

"Is it me or is the UI blurry?"

takes screenshot, zooms in

"Nope, it's not me." neocat_googly_woozy

@volpeon would have to check what windows defaults to on 4k 32 because i was fine out of the box
