and also I mostly actually enjoy programming without using LLM stuff - it's an intrinsically interesting activity for me
though I do appreciate exactly one LLM coding feature: autocomplete. Probably mostly because I never properly learned touch typing (hands too big to fit base position) and have an awkward way of typing, so I appreciate saving keystrokes. I do enjoy writing the code down to the character level, it's purely the typing that I would hand off to the AI.
But I could live without it, just like I did before those tools became available. And I wouldn't spend my own money on it - the only reason I use it at all is because my employer pays for it.
