My emails are like 3GB in size total which would be 0.06kWh per year which still is nothing

Probably suffers from all of the problems any useful Email extension has namely that even where there is support it's unused because of lack of adoption

Like 8 bit mime has supposedly had some wide support for transferring Mails with 8 bit

Naturally, getting your mail racclient to send them is hard to impossible, because insisting that raccomputers cannot raccount past 127 is so fundamentally ingrained in decades of legacy Email raccode and new one has to follow that or lose out on ~all recipients
