Ten days to go until the Copenhagen – Hamburg trains need to be operated with German IC1 carriages because reservations have been sold.

@partim It's *possible* that DB has been able to prove to Transportstyrelsen in Denmark that these carriages ran in DK before (before the 4th railway package was approved) and are hence OK, and do not need ERA authorisation (this is how RDC+SJ did it for some couchette carriages)…

@jon My understanding is that the crucial bit is the Storebelt crossing for which RIC was never enough and you needed separate approval even back when. Those couchettes may have gotten that for the CNL service to Copenhagen.

@partim They got them in time for the trains to run in the end. The Danish channel Kennys Film made a video about them as well.
