Inspired by: Spending an entire day installing Debian 11 because grub didn't want to install itself so I had to do so manually.
There's no feeling like having it all work out in the end!

digitalfox@vulpine.club@Neotheta @0x10f @Greuppe It might depend on your fediverse software. If you're using Mastodon, support for editing media descriptions when editing posts only got added in the v4.1.0 update released February 10th:

The workaround before then was to edit the post, remove the media, reupload the media, then save the post edit.
(I tried to check what software finfur.net was running, but couldn't easily find the instance details - I may have messed up the WebFinger request.)

It's quite likely it isn't the newest version, it's very few people running the servers and they got a lot of other things on their plate (I'm really thankful they do this mastodon server stuff)
but also my stuff is ancient too, need to update my os, I don't even wanna say how old it is!

I just want to clarify incase there was confusion: this is just fanart because I use linux and I like her design. It's not trying to be official or anything more than personal fun. And I do also like Tux, more the merrier.
